International Summer Week in Italy Cagliari-Sardinia 03-10 August 2012

Back in 1998 a group of students decided to create a summer event which gave the opportunity for foreigners (initially university students)to know the beauties of Sardinia and its exciting summer life and called it the “International Summer Week”. The idea was to ensure that the event is repeated every summer in August in Cagliari, Sardinia’s capital, becoming a regular event for guys and girls from around the world.

The formula of the International Summer Week has always remained same: One week summer holiday in Sardinia, from golden beaches and crystalline waters, discovering the most beautiful island in the Mediterranean, in an intercultural environment with. In other words, fun, history and multiculturalism.

In the first edition, fifteen years ago, there were only eight participants. Since then, The International Summer Week has become increasingly popular, and grown. Participants come from not only Europe, but also, all around the world including: Argentina, Brazil, Cameroon, Canada, India, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Taiwan, and USA to name just a few. Last year there were 205 participants.

Summer Week 2012 will be the fifteenth edition! This is an important achievement that we want to celebrate with a special program that will surprise you and make you feel part of something special, just like each of the 2500 people, since 1998, that have participated in the International Summer Week!
